Mounties warn of three attacks on women in Surrey

Police say in each circumstance a woman was walking alone and grabbed from behind by an unknown man.

Mounties in Surrey are warning people about three separate incidents where women were attacked in the neighbourhoods of Whalley and Newton.

RCMP say the women were grabbed from behind between Sept. 27 and Oct. 10.

In each circumstance, a woman was walking alone and grabbed from behind by an unknown man. RCMP say all three women escaped without physical injuries.

The first incident occurred on Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. in Bear Creek Park. A second incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 11400-block of Millar Road, on the same day.

The third incident just before noon on Oct. 10 on a pathway between 132 Street and Edinburgh Drive.

Police say there’s no evidence the incidents are linked.
