Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese stated he would attain out to the US when questioned on his place with China if elected as Prime Minister.
“The polls show that you’re on track to win come May 21, if you do that, will you reach out to speak with the Chinese President Xi Jinping,” requested Sky News reporter Trudy McIntosh.
‘I’m not getting forward of myself, and the connection with China will stay advanced and can stay difficult no matter who wins the election,” Mr Albanese answered.
“I’ll tell you who I’ll be reaching out to, I’ll be – if we’re successful- reaching out to the United States, and the Biden administration.
And what the Biden administration will get from me, as our most important ally, is straight answers.”
