If you’re looking for a quick roundup of the best Black Friday savings on a specific retailer, product or brand, you can use one of our handy guides listed below.

Black Friday falls on November 25 this year. It is then followed by the Cyber Weekend, which sees even more deals and discounts offered from midnight on Black Friday until midnight the following Monday (November 28).

Though some retailers will offer the same sales over the four day period, many will run their biggest deals on Black Friday itself and then offer slightly different (and often lower) discounts from midnight on Black Friday until the end of the sales event.

Some stores may run exclusive discounts, but the majority of retailers offer the same Black Friday deals both online and in-store. As items can be quick to sell out over the sales period though (and parking can be a nightmare), we do recommend shopping online where possible to avoid missing out.

For items you may want to see in person, such as TVs and laptops, we suggest getting to your store of choice early, rather than leaving your shopping until later in the day.

While Black Friday originated in the United States, it has now become the biggest sales event in Australia too – even surpassing the Boxing Day sales. This means deals are increasingly competitive each year as more and more Australian retailers take part in the shopping frenzy.

2022 is likely to the biggest yet for Australians, as inflationary pressures drive more people to shop the sales in the lead up to Christmas. We’re also expecting to see deals on highly-coveted items, like Nintendo Switch OLED Model consoles and PlayStation 5 consoles, that were largely missing from the sales mix last year.
