Brother of bikie boss buried after Sydney gymnasium capturing

Mourners have gathered in Sydney’s south-west to farewell bike boss Tarek Zahed’s brother Omar Zahed after he was shot useless inside a gymnasium.

Family and mates gathered at Lakemba mosque earlier than heading to Rookwood Cemetery for Omar Zahed’s funeral after he was executed at Bodyfit Gym, Auburn, on Tuesday evening.

Absent from immediately’s funeral was the Zahed’s different brother, Abdul, who remained in custody on expenses unrelated to the capturing after he was refused bail at NSW Supreme Court.

It comes as NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Stuart Smith blamed weak legal guidelines for organised crime operating rampant throughout the nation.
