Bus drivers plan to strike in Victoria

Melbourne commuters could face extreme disruptions on Friday as 1000’s of bus drivers plan to strike over pay and circumstances.

The Transport Workers Union is negotiating new bargaining agreements with two of the state’s main public transport operators, Ventura and Dyson.

The firms collectively make use of virtually 3,000 individuals and have over 1,300 buses of their fleet.
