Outgoing Environment Minister Sussan Ley says what was seen at the federal election “hasn’t been a ringing endorsement of Labor at all”.
“While people didn’t vote for us, they certainly didn’t go the Labor Party in droves,” Ms Ley told Sky News Australia.
“It hasn’t been a ringing endorsement of Labor at all.
“It’s been, ‘where can we park our vote – we’re not happy’.
“And that really is a message for all of us.”
