Fetterman’s stroke brings up issue on whether he’s ‘cognitively sound’ to run in the midterms

Sky News host Rita Panahi says John Fetterman’s stroke has brought up an issue of whether he’s “cognitively sound” enough to run as a Democrat candidate for the US Senate seat in Pennsylvania.

“The Democrats are saying that’s ableism, you’re indulging in ableism by even trying to scrutinise his heath, which I think … is absurd,” Ms Panahi said.

“Obviously, someone who is running for office should be capable intellectually to do the job.”
