Fire breaks out after Russians attack nuclear power plant in Ukraine

There are fears a Russian assault on a Ukrainian nuclear plant might result in a monumental environmental catastrophe.

A hearth has damaged out on the Enerhodar station in southern Ukraine after Russian forces started shelling the realm.

The plant is the most important in Europe and accounts for 25 per cent of Ukraine’s energy technology.

Ukraine’s International Minister says if it blows up, it’s going to result in a catastrophe “ten instances bigger than Chernobyl”.
