Friday Will Be Mostly Sunny With Scattered Showers

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 91 and scattered showers, mainly before noon. Winds will be from the east at 20 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 79 and scattered showers, mainly before midnight. Winds will be from the east at around 21 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

Small craft should exercise caution across most of the local waters due to winds up to 20 knots and seas up to 6 feet. Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone of eastern St. Croix. There is a moderate risk of rip currents for the rest of the beaches of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
