GOT7’s BamBam contemplates over love in compelling music video ‘Who Are You’ featuring Red Velvet’s Seulgi : Bollywood News

South Korean group GOT7 member BamBam has made his solo comeback with unveiling his pre-release single ‘Who Are You’ featuring Red Velvet’s Seulgi. The track was released on December 28 at 6pm KST accompanied by maudlin music video.

‘Who Are You’ begins with slow rhythmic beats with dark aesthetic cuts of BamBam. The lyrics begin with BamBam and Seulgi harmonizing “Who are you? / It’s like a maze/ But I like you, like to find you / I realize someone else in mind.” Surrounded by the strumming of a guitar and haunting instrumentals, the lyrics are deep and sentimental.

Seulgi’s soft vocals fits perfectly with the acoustic guiter melody. “I know well / You’re the only one who doesn’t know, I’m wandering / I want to wake up for you / In the dark illusion of love / So that I don’t fall in love.”

The overall visuals and background of the instrumental track music video are set in black and white moody tones. The choreography looks relaxed with light dance moves. The music video features scenes intercutting shots of Bambam in a cell, a forest and in front of a huge mirror.

With composition by Grey (Kyle Trewartha, Michael Trewartha), Mikael Temrowski, and Livvi Franc, BamBam participated in the lyrics along with Lee Seuran, Lee Ha Jin, Grey (Kyle Trewartha, Michael Trewartha), Mikael Temrowski, and Livvi Franc.

Unlike playful music video of ‘riBBon’, BamBam’s solo debut mini-album of the same name, which released in 2021, ‘Who Are You‘ is comparatively dark and intense with only monochromes. Fans loved the eccentric color that the GOT7 star finally got to show with his solo piece of music in his debut album of diverse genres from R&B pop to hip-hop tracks. BamBam first announced the single ‘Who Are You’ with the logo of his new tattoo – a one-line drawing of both of his side profiles.

On the work front, in August 2021, Seulgi made group comeback with Red Velvet with the release of their sixth Korean EP Queendom, including the lead single of the same name. The group’s first Japanese studio album entitled Bloom is set to release on February 2, 2022.

On December 27, 2021, Seulgi was revealed as a member of supergroup Got the Beat alongside Red Velvet groupmate Wendy. The group is set to debut on January 3, 2022.

Meanwhile, BamBam is yet to announce his comeback but going by the looks of it, he might announce it soon.
