Government’s main vote ‘not shifting their way’: Clennell

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says whereas the “trend isn’t Labor’s friend”, the federal government is “just not getting that primary”.

“The primary is not shifting their way, and they would have to have 39 primary at least to have majority government,” Mr Clennell advised Sky News host Peta Credlin.

Mr Clennell added he thinks there’ll nonetheless be a “last-minute government hit” on Labor within the final week of the marketing campaign.
