In Pictures: Anne visits Australia to mark Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

The Princess Royal has begun a three-day go to to Australia on behalf of the Queen in celebration of the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee.

Anne was visitor of honour on the opening ceremony for the Sydney Royal Easter Show because it celebrated its two hundredth anniversary.

The princess made her approach into the primary enviornment to formally open the occasion in the identical 150-year-old horse-drawn carriage which carried herself, the Queen, the late Duke of Edinburgh and her brother Charles into the present 52 years in the past.

She was accompanied by her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
