Janelle Monáe is including to her on-screen resume. The multitalented star has been tasked with portraying historic African American performer and activist Josephine Baker in an upcoming tv collection. Exclusively reported by Deadline, the “Django Jane” lyricist will star in this system De La Resistance from leisure firm A24.
According to the report, the drama collection is about to give attention to Baker’s time as a spy for the Allies through the French resistance serving to defeat the Nazis, in addition to her expertise as one of many world’s most iconic, proficient, and glamorous entertainers.
