Kate Hudson Talked About Co-Parenting Her Three Kids With Three Dads

Kate Hudson opened up about co-parenting her three children with their three different dads. Sounds like a sitcom, huh? Or maybe an early 2000s-inspired romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson? Anyway…

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, the Glass Onion star, 43, discussed her relationships with her exes /co-parents. Hudson has a child, Ryder, 18, now in college, with Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. She has another child, Bingham, 11, with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. Her third child, Rani Rose, four, is with musician/actor/current partner Danny Fujikawa. Hudson and Fujikawa got engaged in 2021.

“It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside, I feel like we’re killing it,” she told the Times. “The unit that I’ve created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it’s ours.”

“For me it’s like, you loved this person,” Hudson continued. “That doesn’t just go away, but you can re-establish a different kind of love. You can have an amazing time with an ex-partner because you’re really only focused on the love of your child,” she added. Referring to Fujikawa, she said he’s “such a wonderful dad and stepdad.”

“Last night he was going through some old footage on his phone of him and Rani and it melted my heart,” she said.

Over the holiday weekend, Hudson shared some snaps from her Thanksgiving with her family on Instagram. “Well this was one great-ful weekend ❤️🍷🦃😜💃❤️,” she wrote in the caption.
