Kendrick Lamar Returns With New Album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’

Kendrick Lamar makes his long-awaited return with essentially the most anticipated hip-hop album of the 12 months, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Five years since he left off with DAMN., the Compton kingpin delivers his fifth and last launch for Top Dawg Entertainment.

The 18-track album, which is split into two elements, contains appearances from Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Baby Keem, Kodak Black, Sampha, Blxst, Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, and pgLang’s personal Tanna Leone, with manufacturing from Pharrell, Boi-1da, Sounwave, Tae Beast, The Alchemist, and extra.

Ahead of the album’s launch, he dropped “The Heart Part 5,” the fifth installment in his long-running sequence. The track arrived alongside a video through which he reworked into celebrities together with Kanye West, Kobe Bryant, Will Smith, OJ Simpson, and the late Nipsey Hussle.

He additionally seemingly revealed that he has a second little one when he debuted the album paintings that includes his 2-year-old daughter and his fiancée, Whitney Alford, who cradles an toddler.

As he closes out this chapter of his profession, the Pulitzer Prize winner shared a message with followers.
