Lizzo Addressed Those Chris Evans Baby Rumors in Her Saturday Night Live Monologue—Watch the Video

Lizzo has no thought how these Chris Evans being pregnant rumors began…winky face.

On April 16, Lizzo hosted Saturday Night Live for the primary time and used her opening monologue to deal with a bunch of salacious tabloid rumors. For one, she’s not courting “each little white boy in Hollywood.”

“They think I’m collecting members of One Direction like Infinity Stones,” she joked, adding “I even have a rumor that I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’s baby. I have no idea where that one started.” Actually, now that Lizzo thinks about it… “It could be the Tick Tock I did where I said I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby,” she admitted. “It’s called manifesting.”

In case you’ve forgotten about the best celebrity DMs in history, let’s rewind to April 2021. Deep into lockdown, Lizzo got a little tipsy and did something most of us would be too afraid to do: she direct messaged Captain America. After sending a series of emojis, she exposed herself on TikTok, writing “Don’t drink and DM, kids.”

But sometimes you should drink and DM, because her moment of bravery was rewarded with an Instagram follow and enviable follow-up exchange with Evans. Fast forward to late July 2021, and the “Rumors” singer began joking that they had been having a child. “This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private between me and the father of my child,” she said in the now-famous TikTok video. “But since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re gonna have a little America!”

Thankfully, Evans is aware of decide to a bit. “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy,” he wrote Lizzo in an Instagram DM on the time. “My mom might be so glad lol.” Apparently, manifesting works!
