Now You Can Have A Real-Life Gucci Experience

As fashion fans head to the theater for the highly anticipated movie about the dramatic rise of luxury brand Gucci, you can also be treated to an off-screen experience about the fashion empire. Casetta, a 270-year-old luxury farmhouse in Chianti, has launched an Afternoon in the Gucci Garden experience for guests who book three nights or more at the resort nestled in the sprawling hills of Tuscany, just a half hour away from Florence.

The “Afternoon in the Gucci Garden” includes a day at the Gucci Museum, a private tour guide, and private car transfers roundtrip to and from Florence. Reservations for a gourmet lunch with wine at Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura can also be arranged.

Guests have the opportunity to visit the three-storied Gucci Museum at their leisure and explore the past fascinating six years of fashion under the current creative director Alessandro Michele. The museum features immersive and digital exhibits about the inspiration and modern evolution of the renowned brand. There is an onsite bookstore and shop for those who wish to pick up some new accessories or coffee table books.

After a trip to the museum, guests can satisfy their appetite with an optional visit to Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura for a multi-course lunch which showcases a modern interpretation of Italian cuisine. Guests can select a la carte or a tasting menu with wine. Costs for two guests start at approximately$1,321 and include one double room with ensuite bathroom for three nights, private car to and from Florence, Gucci Museum tickets, and a private tour guide.

Other experiences at the acclaimed Casetta include customized art history excursions, guided mountain biking, hot air balloon rides, truffle hunting, cooking lessons, touring vineyards, special Chef dinners with live music and dancing, and spa services on-site customized for guests. Casetta is available for booking entire groups for weekly private stays or individual stays.

But I wait – there’s even more in store for you in the land of Gucci.

In honor of the House of Gucci movie, global guided vacation company Trafalgar created an exclusive 8-day trip throughout Italy to get a dose of Gucci from the source featuring  incredible fashion, history, landscapes and of course, Italian cuisine along the way.

The adventure kicks off in the Italian fashion capital of Milan – home of the Gucci headquarters and where protagonists Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani were married. Travelers will explore filming sites and city highlights such as La Scala Opera House and the famed Duomo before heading to Italy’s most famous lake and vacation hotspot for the rich and famous, Lake Como (where you just might bump into actor George Clooney and his wife Amal).  Other trip highlights include browsing the flagship Gucci store in Rome; exploring the resort town of Gressoney Saint Jean located at the foot of the highest mountain in the Pennine Alps that was used as a stand-in for St. Moritz in the film; spending the day at Florence’s spectacular Gucci Garden featuring a boutique and bi-level gallery rooms illustrating the Gucci story and much more.

The exclusive ‘Glamour in Italy’ itinerary departs on March 26th, 2022, starting at $2,370 per person, and includes on-trip transportation, accommodations, multiple meals and expert guides.

Don’t forget an extra suitcase for all of your Gucci purchases!
