The maker of a pancake and waffle combine bought at Walmart and Kroger issued a recall after it found “potential foreign material contamination” in merchandise distributed throughout the United States.
In bulletins issued by the Food and Drug Administration final week, Continental Mills described the contamination as “fragments from a cable used to clear the processing line.”
The firm, primarily based in Washingtonstate, mentioned there have been no experiences of accidents or contaminated product being bought.

The combine was distributed to Walmart shops nationwide and Kroger shops in 17 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
The firm mentioned it was “acting swiftly for the safety of consumers.”
Neither Walmart nor Kroger instantly responded to requests for remark.
