Paramount Plans HG Wells Mythology Tale

Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures is reportedly in early growth on an untitled H.G. Wells challenge for its Paramount Players label.

“The Maze Runner” director Wes Ball’s OddBall Entertainment manufacturing firm is backing the challenge which is alleged to be a “very loose adaptation” stemming from the ‘mythology’ that surrounds one of many author’s most iconic titles.

Which title that may very well be isn’t clear. Wells in fact penned such famed works as “The Time Machine,” “The War of the Worlds,” “The Invisible Man” and “The Island of Dr. Moreau”.

A director has not but been connected, however rising screenwriter Laura Gillis has penned the script primarily based on a earlier incarnation by T.S. Nowlin (“The Adam Project”). Nowlin, Ball, Joe Hartwick Jr. and Hank Wyler will produce.
