On Thursday, Britain’s equality watchdog published new guidance which states that that school uniform and appearance policies that ban certain hairstyles, without the possibility for exceptions to be made on racial grounds or religious grounds, are likely to be unlawful.

We would like to hear your experiences of hair discrimination, in schools, workplaces, or any other public setting.
