Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Fiona, the V.I. Housing Authority’s (VIHA’s) central offices and Public Housing Community Management offices in the St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John Districts were closed to residents and the general public at 2 p.m. on Friday. They will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 17, all day.
The offices will reopen and resume operations on Monday, Sept. 19.
Residents who reside in apartments with the potential of leaks due to the oncoming rains are recommended to secure their belongings as much as possible. If additional assistance is needed to secure your apartments, contact the property manager.
Residents are urged to report any maintenance emergencies by calling (305) 447-2464 and providing the name of the housing community, building and apartment number, name of the person reporting the issue, contact telephone number and a description of the maintenance emergency.
